OPEN

OPEN is an interactive solo performance.

OPEN takes place at the inside areal of Powerhouse Brattørkaia. Here, in the biggest energy-positive building in Norway, form follows environment, movement follows form, the viewer follows the movements. The piece acknowledges the dichotomy between the enclosed, urban space and the open sky above, where the ambiance from the world around is funneled in. The audience's gaze may wander up and down the vertical axis, alternating between the dancer and the framed sky. The trialogue between performer, audience, and site invites for a multisensory experience within the boundaries of this hidden space. It offers alternative ways of being, seeing, hearing, and connecting. 

OPEN was part of 'Byen i bevegelse' produced by DansiT with artistic supervision by Hooman Sharifi and supported by Trondheim Kommune. The project presented solo performances of four dance artists during a two days event.
